After working for the gas company (currently Puget Sound Energy), Blue Flame owners Rodd Walker and Richard Vulliet ventured out to form their own heating companies.

In 1994, Rich started Affordable Home Heating and Rodd formed Blue Flame Gas Service. In 2001, the two former Ballard High School classmates joined their businesses to form what Blue Flame is today.

Blue Flame now employs close to 20 people with combined experience in the heating and air conditioning field of over 75 years. Rodd and Rich take their knowledge as service technicians and installers and pass it on directly to every employee.

At Blue Flame we are dedicated to providing solutions to our customer's heating needs. Nobody will take care of you like Blue Flame, just ask for our references.

We're committed to continual training of all our employees. Through our vendors, Blue Flame consistently trains employees on duct design and installation, service technician classes and many others.
